I have a new friend and her name is Jo. Jo and her husband Ryan are a very cool, creative and hardworking couple with 2 beautiful girls “Grace & Daisy’. You may know of their business – Such Great Heights and if you don’t know of this company, then keep reading and i will tell you a little more.
Ryan and Jo love make believe and encourage children to use their imagination. They produced this lovely “wonder tent” which i have used in my room designs and also came up with cool looking merit badges and adventure capes. Such Great Heights have now commenced an Artist Series, where they will work alongside some of the best International artists and illustrators to bring us some beautiful and unique art for our kid’s rooms. Below is their first instalment of the series, by Sweedish illustrator Camilla Engman, which is a wonderful & sweet woodland print which features a copper foil finish.
This copper foil artwork is lovingly finished one at a time on an 1880’s hot blocking press by 71 year old Maltese master bookbinder, Charles Zammit. It is then pressed into a beautiful 640gsm French watercolour paper exclusively for Such Great Heights. So much love and dedication goes into each and every print and the results speak for themselves.
Jo was kind enough to offer me 2 of these wonderful pieces of art to GIVE AWAY to 2 very lucky people. So you may be aware this week I ran a comp on Facebook and now i get to announce the 2 fortunate winners… So if your name is ANGELA SMITH and you have a daughter “Olivia Grace” and if your name is KATE ROELING and you have a son “Louis Valentine”, then you better get yourself off to Ikea and get a Ribba Frame as this print will be hanging on your wall very soon.
For all those that missed out, Such Great Heights are offering $10.00 off these prints to all Hide & Sleep friends and family (that’s you), all you need to do is visit their website and add “tenner” in the coupon code.
Have you all have a lovely weekend – love Jacinda and her new friend Jo x
